OUR OFFICE

OUR GARDENS

The place where we have our office is within an operating vineyard producing Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The property is part of what was originally the farm of the Bell family and then the Douglas family. Our office building is on the site of what was the original Bell/Douglas homestead.

We have tried to preserve and enhance the long established plantings. The garden is dominated by two massive Phoenix Palms and by an old Douglas Fir. In 2007 we planted a grove of Rimu, Kauri and Kahikatea and in our very rich soils, these have flourished.

OUR LIBRARY

We try never to keep visitors waiting but if there is a wait we want our visitors to be comfortable.

We provide a large array of books for enjoyable reading.

ON OUR WALLS

We try to support New Zealand artists by having their works brighten our walls.

OUR FRIENDS

Jazz was Miriam’s Jack Russell who would come to the office and enjoy being here. RIP Jazz

We have visits from time to time by Miriam’s dog Joey, Rebecca’s dog Baxter, Dave’s (our vineyard manager) dog Murphy, Nicki’s dog Daley and the neighbour’s cat.
